Is 3d Printing Appropriate for all Fixtures?

No, 3d printing is fantastic, but it is not the solution to all of our industrial problems (yet!).  3d printing a fixture is not adequate where;

Physical forces on the component are high

If you are applying significant forces, for example in some kind of cutting or milling operation then it is likely that the forces required to hold the component in the fixture will be above what the material can support.  There can be some exceptions to this when the component is of such a shape that there can be significant resistance provided by the material of the fixture.  If you are unsure, simply contact us and we will advise how appropriate a 3d printed fixture is for your specific application.
